An Ode To The Woman You Are.
The restlessness around a womanโs age has never made sense to me. When I was younger, there was simply no logic to the fuss made around how long a woman has been around. As I got older, I learned about the negative nuances attached to a womanโs age and the hide and seek game women play with their age made a bit more sense.
I understand it now. But I still donโt agree with it. I love getting older. I truly do. A large part of it has to do with my walk with God. The future isnโt so daunting when youโre walking side by side with the One who created time and season.
If thereโs one thing I hope you get out of this book, itโs that life is what you allow God to make it. The past doesnโt have to hold you captive. The present provides a blank canvas each morning waiting for your brush strokes. The future certainly shouldnโt terrify you. Not with the eternal depths of love God has for you.
With that, I present to you: I AmโฆWoman (Volume I). A series of highlights from my 20s marking places in my journey of becoming where I found Godโฆand He found meโฆand life was never the same.
