Who Is Archangel Gabriel?

Who is Gabriel? Why does Scripture repeatedly present him at some of the most significant moments in God’s redemptive plan? What can his ministry teach us about the government of heaven, divine revelation, and the order through which Yahweh accomplishes His eternal purposes?

For many years, I have studied and taught the Scriptures concerning the ministry of angels, not to draw attention to them, but to deepen our understanding of the greatness, wisdom, and sovereignty of God. Among all the heavenly messengers revealed in the Bible, Gabriel occupies a unique place. His ministry consistently points beyond himself to the will of Yahweh, faithfully communicating divine revelation, granting understanding, and carrying out heaven’s assignments with unwavering obedience.

This book has been written to explore Gabriel’s ministry through the light of Scripture and according to the prophetic understanding entrusted to me by Yahweh. Within these pages, we will examine his role in the government of heaven, his ministry to the prophets, his relationship with the heavenly records, and his participation in the divine administration of God’s purposes. Above all, we will discover that Gabriel’s life is a testimony to the order, faithfulness, and perfection with which heaven serves its Creator.
