Her father’s death brings them together. The secrets of his past threaten to tear them apart.

Even when Hope seems lost…

Hope is in her last year of university getting a degree she never wanted but needed to earn. Her father’s sudden death lands her in the middle of a territory war between two drug lords kicking her quarter life crisis into high gear. They’re determined to get her father’s property by any means necessary. But falling for the man standing between them and her could very well be what leads to her downfall.

There’s love to be found…

From corporate manager to carpenter, Dean walked away from the dream life he always wanted to build the real life he truly needed. A life that Hope would be the perfect addition to. But when unfinished business from his past puts her in even more danger than she’s already in, he’s torn between letting her go and holding on tighter. To save his dream girl, he has to trust the person whose betrayal almost costs him his life.

But only if you have faith.

Hope and Dean have to confront their pasts if they want to have a future together. Will their new found love be strong enough to stand the test of time?

    Kizuri Books

    “Un-put-downable!” – Kizuri Books

  2. Emmanuel Mutisya

    Heartwarming, intense & very sobering!
This book puts into perspective what it’s like to talk to God, seeing that most people don’t believe in hearing the voice of God.
The story is also centred around people with many character flaws, thus enabling one to understand the grace of God working in people’s lives.
Overall, this was an excellent read.

  3. Joy

The book is amazing in its depiction of the character’s genuine relationship with God and how their relationship with Him is active and not a pious act or going to church or serving! I see how someone can relate to it without feeling like it’s too preachy.

I love how they speak to God and trust His leading. I love their conversations with God. The questions, the wrestling.

It definitely tugged at my heartstrings from Chapter 10 till the end.

The ending left my stomach in knots and a lump in my throat.

The letters were so tear-jerking. I kept putting the book down like phew! 😰

  4. Lynn Wacu

Who thought someone would write a Christian romantic novel that will have you thinking about your relationship with God? I’ve already written Book 2 in my mind.

  5. Purity Mukuria

A story well told. From start to finish. Thank you, Mary.

  6. Charlene Maina

I resonated with the lead characters’ backgrounds and conversations with God along their journeys. Mary combined God and romance so well. It was riveting to read.
